    don't know if it's my ears, but the singer sounds slightly sharp relative to the instruments, and that adds a feel to the tune that I like. I think the pulsing bass rhythm is a bit repetitive and monotonous, but maybe that adds to it? The end is abrupt.

    although the song comes across as a piece of light electronica it has a curiously likeable appeal. It stays in you head long after the song has finished. I like Joel's lyrics (did he sing it as well?) and the the accented singing gives is delightful. I really like this.

    I really like this song. It has a beutiful, sad melody. I think it's charming and I love the Oboe sound. Great!!!
